A One Stop Shop For Architectural Services

KJM Design produce detailed drawings for both planning and building regulations approval. Other services offered are feasibility studies, measured property surveys, structural design and calculations, as well as full planning agency services.

We like to think of ourselves as a one stop shop. Customers come to us with their ideas and using our skills and experience we make them happen.

We will take your initial ideas from conception right the way through to approval of your plans. We do not stop there however as we be on hand to offer support through the build phase and beyond.

Theres an old adage which says you only get what you pay for - And although this can be true of many things in life this is certainly not the case when it comes to obtaining a good quality set of planning permission drawings.

Step One

Simply fill out our enquiry form from our website which can be found by clicking here. The forms are very straight forward and take no time at all. Your details are kept strictly confidential and we never pass on your details to third party companies.

Step Two Usually within 24 hours you will receive a quotation from us tailor made to your specific project requirements.

Step Three If you are happy with our quote and would like to employ our services you can register yourself for a private client account on our website.

Step Four Once you have registered as a new customer we will contact you through the website to arrange a convenient time to carry out your measured survey. Once a suitable time for a survey is agreed we will issue an invoice for your initial 30% deposit. This will be available to view via your private client log in and can also be paid online using debit/credit card or via paypal. Your 30% deposit must be paid at least 2 working days before your survey date.

Step Five Once we have carried out a measured survey we will produce your detailed plans (usually within 7 working days). Once completed evaluation copy of your drawings will be sent to your client log intogether with your final invoice. Once this invoice has been paid then your final full scale downloadable plans will be sent to your client log in.

Step Six Any alterations required to your plans can be requested from your customer area (we never charge for revisions).

Step Seven Once you are happy with the plans we will submit them to the council on your behalf and a copy of your planning application will be uploaded to your customer area for your records. We will then liaise direct with your local authority on your behalf until such time as your plans are passed.

We Produce Clear Plans but have an even clearer pricing policy

Any quotations provided by us will include both your OS Digital mapping charges and your local authority planning fees so no nasty surprises later on - if comparing our quotes with other architectural services companies for a set of like for like extension plans we would ask that you ensure that they also include these fees within their price as many will not.
